You can manually delete old program entries from "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\" registry key. Use RegEdit.exe utility for this purpose. And do not touch "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\" branch :).

Important!
Do not forget to create backup .reg files (menu Registry -> Export Registry File) before deleting any entry.
